SUMMARY:
A leading player in the industrial sector is searching for a driven CA(SA) to step into a Financial Manager role and play a pivotal part in ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic financial leadership.

POSITION INFO:
This organisation requires a Financial Manager who will work closely with the CFO to deliver reliable management and statutory accounts, maintain robust internal controls, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting regulations. This is an opportunity to join a respected business where your technical expertise, leadership ability, and commercial insight will make a measurable impact.

Other Duties Include:

Preparing and executing monthly management accounts and variance analysis
Preparing annual financial statements and ensuring that statutory schedules are completed on time
Managing tax, VAT, and compliance submissions
Overseeing creditors, cash flow forecasting, and fixed asset management
Leading, developing, and mentoring the finance team
Ensuring effective governance, internal controls, and risk management
Engaging with Auditors, banks, SARS, insurers, and key stakeholders
Supporting the CFO with forecasting, budgeting, and strategic initiatives

Education:

Qualified CA(SA)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum 2 years post-articles experience
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and income tax
Exposure to hedging products and mechanisms advantageous
Team management experience essential
Advanced MS Office and accounting systems skills (Keyloop Drive AI beneficial)
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and deadline-driven approach
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage at a Board level
