SUMMARY:
A leading retail and e-commerce powerhouse, known for its rapid growth and strong national footprint, is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join their dynamic team based in Cape Town's City Bowl.
POSITION INFO:
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on FM who thrives in a high-pressure, fast-paced, stock-intensive environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative, high-performance culture.
You will oversee the full finance function while driving operational efficiencies, supporting strategic decision-making, and leading a capable team in an ever-evolving business landscape.
Education & Experience Required:
- BCom Degree & completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
- 3–5 years post-articles experience in a full Financial Manager function role
- Exposure to Retail, FMCG, or stock-heavy environments highly advantageous
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a busy, fast-moving business
Skills & Competencies:- Full accounting & financial reporting functions
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Advanced analytical thinking & problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail in a high-pressure setting
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn and grow
- Hands-on, intelligent, and able to work independently while collaborating closely with the team
