POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
A well-established, design-led retail business is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead and optimise its full finance function. This organisation prides itself on quality, accountability, and strong operational discipline, with a culture that values collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role offers real influence, exposure to leadership, and the opportunity to build and guide a capable finance team while supporting sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial reporting, compliance, and statutory submissions
Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis
Cash flow management and liquidity oversight
Risk management and internal control frameworks
Leadership, development, and management of the finance team

Job Experience and Skills Required:

5+ years’ experience in financial management within a retail environment
BCom in Accounting or Finance (Honours and professional registration advantageous)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, audits, VAT, PAYE, and regulatory compliance
Proven ability to provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership
Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving ability
