POSITION INFO:
A well-established industrial business is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team. This opportunity sits at the heart of a technically driven environment, offering strong exposure to operational finance, cost control, and strategic input.

This is a role for a high-calibre individual who thrives in structured, performance-led environments and wants to move beyond reporting into true business partnering. You will work closely with leadership, drive efficiencies, and play a key role in strengthening financial performance across the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Full financial function, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Cost control and margin optimisation within an industrial environment
Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts
Financial insights and reporting to support strategic decision-making
Compliance, controls, and process improvement initiatives

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:
- BCom in Accounting or Finance (non-negotiable)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience
- Industrial / manufacturing / production environment exposure (non-negotiable)
Skills:
- Strong academic track record (top achievers only)
- Advanced Excel and financial systems exposure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to operate in a high-performance, operational environment
- Solid understanding of cost and operational finance
