POSITION INFO:

Company and Job Description:

You will be part of a high-performing finance team within a fast-paced consumer goods environment, acting as a trusted business partner to both finance and operational leadership. This role is ideal for a commercially minded CA(SA) who enjoys translating financial information into actionable business insights and influencing strategic outcomes.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving profitability, supporting business performance, and partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver value across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with operational and commercial teams to drive business performance
Deliver financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
Prepare and review monthly management accounts and performance reports
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Monitor and analyse key business drivers, margins, and profitability
Provide variance analysis and recommendations to improve business performance
Support business cases, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives
Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and corporate governance requirements
Present financial results and insights to senior management stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Strong commercial acumen and business partnering capability
Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support skills
Strong communication and presentation abilities
Proven ability to operate within a fast-paced FMCG environment
CA(SA) qualification (essential)
3–5 years' post-articles experience
Experience within FMCG, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Beverage, or related industries advantageous
Strong financial planning, reporting, and business partnering experience
Advanced Excel and ERP system experience beneficial
