POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description Our client, an innovative and internationally recognised organisation based in Woodstock, Cape Town , is looking to appoint a Financial Manager to lead its finance function. Reporting into senior leadership, you will oversee all aspects of financial management while managing and developing a high-performing finance team. The successful candidate will take ownership of financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning, ensuring the finance function supports the company's ambitious growth objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the full finance function. Manage, mentor and develop the finance team. Oversee month-end and year-end financial reporting. Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Drive budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management. Review balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger integrity. Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements. Manage external audits and stakeholder relationships. Analyse financial performance and provide strategic business insights. Drive process improvements, internal controls and operational efficiencies. Job Experience and Skills Required Education: CA(SA) (Non-negotiable). Job Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 3 years' post-articles commercial experience . Proven experience managing the full finance function . Previous finance team management experience. Strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge. Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning experience. Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
