POSITION INFO:
A well-established and respected healthcare organization based in Durban is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to take ownership of the finance function and partner with leadership in driving operational excellence. This opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about improving financial performance through strategic insight and strong governance. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports and management accounts. Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiencies. Maintain and strengthen financial controls and governance frameworks. Manage the general ledger, trial balance, and balance sheet reconciliations. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Monitor working capital, cash flow, debtors, and capital expenditure. Conduct investment evaluations and financial modelling. Partner with operational stakeholders to improve financial performance. Coordinate internal and external audit processes and ensure compliance. Build strong relationships across the business while providing strategic financial support. Minimum Requirements: BCom Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification. CA(SA) or CIMA qualifications will be highly advantageous. Minimum 5 years' experience in Financial Management role. Strong financial analysis and reporting experience. Proven experience implementing process improvements and driving efficiencies. Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning expertise. SAP experience will be advantageous.
