POSITION INFO:
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Manager to take ownership of the central finance function within a growing commercial group with multiple subsidiary entities. This is a senior finance opportunity suited to a commercially minded professional who can operate across technical accounting, financial planning, project finance, treasury, and business support. Working closely with the Group CFO, you will play a key role in strengthening financial controls, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring the finance function continues to evolve alongside the business. Candidate Profile To be successful in this role, you should have: A BCom Degree in Accounting with professional registration through SAICA, CIMA, or SAIPA ; CA(SA) will be highly advantageous 7 to 10 years' progressive experience within financial management and technical accounting environments Proven experience partnering with CFOs, executive leadership, and senior operational stakeholders Strong expertise across management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial controls, taxation, and statutory compliance Experience leading and developing finance teams, with strong commercial judgement and the ability to operate independently Key Responsibilities Oversee the full finance function across the group and its subsidiaries, including management accounts, reporting, controls, and statutory compliance Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, variance analysis, and financial planning to support business performance Develop financial models and costing structures for projects, tenders, contracts, and funding applications Manage treasury, liquidity, insurance, tax, audit, and broader financial risk requirements Partner with the Group CFO and senior stakeholders while leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team Systems Exposure Experience with Sage Evolution, Pastel Payroll, and Fusion will be highly advantageous.
