SUMMARY:
A well established Durban-based retailer requires a Financial Manager to provide leadership to the finance team over a period of 3 months

POSITION INFO:
Duties include:

Management of a finance team consisting of 3 x Accounting Managers and 4 x Financial Accountants
Assist in the management of various financial accounting functions, including inventory, debtors, creditors, VAT, fixed assets, general ledger, company taxation, cash flow, forex and insurance.
Oversee the prep. of monthly management accounts
Oversee the submission of all company returns
Preparation of board packs.
Manage finance related systems and internal controls.
Assist with the management of working capital and forex exposure
Ensure tax and legal Compliance
Facilitating the audit processes
Monitor and analyse cash flow, cost controls, forecasts and expenses

Requirements:

CA (SA) / SAIPA / CIMA or equivalent
Demonstrated knowledge related to Accounting and Enterprise Systems, Taxation legislation, etc.
Minimum of 7-10 years relevant experience within a similar role.
Knowledge of Sage300 will be advantageous.
Experience within the retail environment would be advantageous.
