A reputable concern in the mining industry is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing of the financial department and identifying, tracking, reporting, and managing key business drivers. The Financial Manager will also be responsible for compiling annual operational budgets in line with business guidelines and policies as well full tax management, compiling of annual AFS in line with IFRS and ensuring sound corporate governance.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 8-10 years’ post article experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in a managerial role
• Experience in the mining industry is preferred
• Ability to maintain high levels of individual and team performance by driving the achievement of goals, targets, and financial objectives
• Excellent people management and leadership skills
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles
• Working experience with the full financial reporting function
