Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Financial Manager for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• Financial and/or Business Management Degree essential
• 10 years financial management experience preferably in an agricultural field
• Advanced Excel skills, drivers license and own vehicle
• Xhosa speaking preferred
• Vacancy is urgent, therefore preference will be given to candidates who are available immediately

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Able to competently prepare and understand balance sheet / income statements
• Manage cash flows and handle financial reporting
• Oversight of governance procedures and authorization of payments across 3 farms
• Assist with funding processes and management thereof
• Participate on financial committees
• Understand legal documents
• Finalization of financial statements and audit file preparation
• Internal controls and cash flow management
• Staff management and salary negotiations
• Updating asset register
• Report preparation and submission
• Control of debtors and creditors processes
• Budget preparation and forecasting
