Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
Are you a qualified chartered accountant that is immediately available looking to make your next career move? A global conglomerate entity within the Pharmaceuticals space has an opportunity for a Management Accountant for a 6-month contract within their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the reporting on a local, regional, and global level.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications and Experience:

• CA(SA)
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years’ post articles experience within a financial or accounting function
• Exposure to global reporting and taxation would be beneficial
• Experience in external and internal auditing would be advantageous
• Preferably have completed articles at the Big 4 audit firms

 Key Responsibilities:

• Regional and Global reporting: Finalisation and analysis of multiple reports (i.e., Product details submission, Monthly regional reporting pack, Quarterly review packs, Price Volume variance analysis, and any adhoc duties).
• Local reporting: Finalisation and analysis of various reports (i.e., Management packs, Expense report, Sales report, Gross and Net working capital calculations, and any adhoc requests).
• Discussions with financial management across all levels with the company regarding the analysed reports.
• Assisting with audit and ensuring audit is completed on time
• Assistance with Annual Financial Statements and Consolidations
• Assisting with budget and forecasting requirements
• Calculation of monthly customer fees and management of the accruals
• Bi-weekly meetings with all stakeholders and bi-weekly email communication on the status, any issues & commitments
• Providing finance management with timeous communication on important topics or issues to ensure appropriate decisions are made
• Assistance with business cases required across the business
• Adhoc business support
