A reputable and well known South African retailer is looking for an experienced Financial Manager to join their finance team. The listed entity has grown into an award-winning company and offers the successful incumbent a career in a stable environment.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Manager will be responsible for budget control, monthly reconciliations, and daily checking of reports. The Financial Manager will also be responsible for capital expenditure, debtors’ control, and the expense cost centre.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

BCom in Accounting

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 4-5 years experience in a similar role
Willing to work over the weekends
Experience in the FMCG/retail/supply chain environments is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership and people management skills
Confident and assertive
