A reputable concern in the insurance industry is looking for a Financial Manager to join their finance team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Manager will be responsible for processing the journals and managing the finance team. The Financial Manager will also be responsible for preparing the monthly and yearly reports and the financial statements. The Financial Manager will be responsible for implementing and compiling with the latest IFRS standards as well being involved with the consolidations.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

Newly qualified CA (SA) up to 2 years’ post article experience
Experience in the insurance industry is preferred
Exposure to IFRS 17 would be advantageous
Experience managing a team
Strong technical accounting skills
Confident and assertive
