Financial Manager, Logistics Industry, Hillcrest, up to R79 000

POSITION INFO:

RS Recruitment is assisting a well-established organisation in the LOGISTICS INDUSTRY, to recruit a FINANCIAL MANAGER to be based at their offices in HILLCREST.

OUR CLIENT, ESTABLISHED ALMOST 20 YEARS AGO, IS AN INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS ORGANISATION OFFERING ROAD, SEA, AND AIR TRANSPORT SERVICES.

Applicants should be/have the following:

Relevant financial qualification.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience in the logistics industry, an advantage.

Responsibilities:

Forecasting income and expenditure.
Assisting in the creation of business strategies.
Negotiating and obtaining finance for major projects.
Preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements.
Developing and managing financial systems/policies, including debtor and creditor management.
Undertaking financial administration and internal audits.
Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues.
Supervising a bookkeeper.
Managing forex conversions.

Remuneration:

Up to approximately R79 000, depending on experience and qualifications.
