JOB SUMMARY:
FMCG / Manufacturing concern, based in Isando, has a new opportunity available for a Financial Manager. Ensure profitability whilst maintaining and developing financial policies and procedures and ensure reliable and complete financial and weekly reports.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Completed B.Com (Accounting) / similar qualification, as well as completed articles with 5-7 years commercial experience as a Financial Manager within the FMCG / Manufacturing sector essential. Develop, implement and maintain proper accounting systems that enhances efficiencies; be part of Senior Management team providing guidance and input into all operational and strategic aspects of the business; ensure adherence to company DoA; financial process analysis and optimization; optimize and safeguard utilization of company assets and allocation thereof; optimize stock levels and stock control; define and implement financial best practices; manage expenses, evaluate and take corrective action against deviations; manage margins, evaluate and take corrective actions, review and analyze weekly management accounts; production yield and analysis; review sales and purchases analysis; direct cost reporting; overhead analysis; production and product costs analysis; financial reporting : prepare monthly management reports; monthly actual vs budget analysis; monthly audit pack preparation; prepare summary of performance indicators; prepare monthly management commentary; prepare information for EXCO slides; facility summaries; monthly forecast; monthly flash and updated flash reports; monthly FD confirmations; prepare annual budget; monthly loan schedule updates with weekly updates to management; board reporting - monthly and quarterly; compare monthly report to weekly reports and provide explanation for variances; compare monthly report to budget and provide explanation to variances; obtain monthly B/S reconciliations; review for accuracy and reconciling items and review group bank account reconciliations. Knowledge of SAP and SAGE highly advantageous.
