SUMMARY:
DBN000278 - Group Finance Manager (Logistics) - Umhlanga

Purpose of the Job:
Leads the finance function, ensuring strong governance, accurate reporting, and effective management of accounting operations across the group.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Honours advantageous)
Professional designation (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA, PA(SA), CBAP(SA)) preferred
5–8 years’ experience in financial management, ideally in warehousing, logistics, or similar sectors
Understanding of logistics and related industries (e.g., warehousing, freight, silo management)
Familiarity with financial reporting standards and tax regulations
Proficient in QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Excel

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience:

Oversee full finance function, reporting, consolidations, and year-end processes
Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance monitoring
Manage cash flow, treasury, controls, risk, and overall financial governance
Lead and develop the finance team
Ensure regulatory, tax, and audit compliance with strong internal controls and systems
Support strategy through financial insights, pricing, profitability analysis, and business growth initiatives
