JOB SUMMARY:
Leading multimedia business seeks a Financial Manager to join their fast-growing team and effectively run the finance department on a day-to-day basis. Minimum of 5 years' experience within the Accounting field is essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate, complete, and reliable accounting records
Reconciliation of general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
Preparation of the monthly payroll
IRP5, EMP501, UIF
Raising of invoices and dispatch to customers
Follow up with debtors
Prepare reports necessary for annual and / or interim audits and liaise with auditors as necessary in the conduct of the statutory or other audits
Completion and submission of applications for foreign exchange payments and / or supervise staff who attend to this function
Capturing and authorising forex payments within designated limits
Maintain and reconcile foreign cash on hand

Requirements:

Matric (with Mathematics and preferably Accounting)
Relevant Degree or Diploma: BCom, Honours and Articles bonus
Proficient in the following computer software: Pastel Accounting, Pastel Payroll, Excel, and Microsoft Office
