JOB SUMMARY:
Financial Manager with BUILDSMART required for leading building contractor in Cape Town

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose of this role: The accounting department is responsible for recording and reporting the cash flows, both in and out, of a company. The department focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial controls and financial reporting.

Role Purpose and Key Performance Areas:
The Regional Financial Manager oversees regional accounting procedures, cash flow and project costing controls and ensures that an adequate control /compliance structure is in place.

The incumbent provides expert advice and is responsible for collecting, organising, analysing and reporting financial and
management information.

The Finance Manager leads and supports a team of professionals and upholds company standards whilst ensuring reporting integrity and legislative compliance.

The incumbent leverages business analytics to optimise liquidity, improve process flows and identify and mitigate risk

Key Performance Areas:

Manages the region's overall Financial, Plant, Procurement, Payroll & IT functions
Functions as a subject matter expert and acts a business advisor
Managing and taking accountability for all Statutory, Regulatory & legal compliance
Leadership and People Management

Requirements:

BComm Accounting / similar
Must have completed Articles
Experience in the construction industry will be an advantage
BuildSmart system experience will be an advantage
