JOB DESCRIPTION:

Title: Financial Manager

Location: Cape Town

Salary: R 45 000pm

Brief Description:

A gaming company is looking to hire a CA or a BCom accounting degree holder for the position of Financial Manager on a contract basis.

General Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be a focused and self-driven individual, who has a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a managerial position. This position will report to the General Manager.

Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):

· Monthly financial accounting

· Balance sheet reconciliations and analytical reviews.

· Monthly preparation and review of taxation and tax compliance

· Asset control and fixed asset accounting.

· Monthly financial reporting to General Manager

· Compiling quarterly reports and financial packs for submission

· Monthly review of payroll calculations performed by the HR department.

· Weekly cash flow projections.

· Authorising of purchase orders, expense claims and payments in line with budget.

· Co-ordinate annual audit and financial statements.

· Effective management of staff.

Education:

· CA(SA) or BCom

Job Experience:

· 3 years managerial experience

Skills:

· Attention to detail

· Excellent report writing skills

· Proficiency in MS Word

· MS Excel,
