A reputable concern in the retail space is currently looking for an experienced CA (SA) to join their growing finance team as a Financial Manager.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Manager will be responsible for planning and forecasting, credit management, and the annual financial audits. The Financial Manager will be responsible for monthly review of cost centre reports vs actuals, preparing and submitting of the monthly generated cost reports and identifying and implementing cost saving initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with IFRS, reconciliations, VAT, US GAAP and SOX.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA(SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 3-4 years’ post article experience in a similar role
Experience working in an MFCG/logistics/retail industries is preferred
Willing to travel
Deadline driven
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of the full finance function
