JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in Wineberg is urgently in need of a young and dynamic Financial Manager to join their team.

Duties

Directly oversee 4 staff members including Finance Assistant, Wages, Buyer and Receptionist.
Managing the monthly payroll and supervise the bi-weekly wages including HR related matters, statutory reporting and submissions.
Monthly invoices for the debtors and collecting of monies. Reporting to the MD on funds not collected and reasons why including short payments.
Capturing various cashbooks and reconciling bank accounts.
Processing month end journals and reconciling ledger accounts.
Liaising with auditors, bank and insurance company.
Processing insurance claims and project guarantees.
Prepare monthly reports management accounts, cash flow as required by the directors.
Statutory reporting and submission of employee taxes, VAT, provisional tax and dividends withholding tax as and when required.
As per the job description various other duties as seen fit by directors from time to time.

Requirements:

A relevant degree in Accounting
Proven Track record
Advanced Excel skills
Pastel Partner
Pastel Payroll
SAGE VIP
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
