Financial Manager

Our client in Wineberg is urgently in need of a young and dynamic Financial Manager to join their team.

Duties

• Directly oversee 4 staff members including Finance Assistant, Wages, Buyer and Receptionist.
• Managing the monthly payroll and supervise the bi-weekly wages including HR related matters, statutory reporting and submissions.
• Monthly invoices for the debtors and collecting of monies. Reporting to the MD on funds not collected and reasons why including short payments.
• Capturing various cashbooks and reconciling bank accounts.
• Processing month end journals and reconciling ledger accounts.
• Liaising with auditors, bank and insurance company.
• Processing insurance claims and project guarantees.
• Prepare monthly reports management accounts, cash flow as required by the directors.
• Statutory reporting and submission of employee taxes, VAT, provisional tax and dividends withholding tax as and when required.
• As per the job description various other duties as seen fit by directors from time to time.

Requirements:

• A relevant degree in Accounting
• Proven Track record
• Advanced Excel skills
• Pastel Partner
• Pastel Payroll
• SAGE VIP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
