JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Financial Director you will be required to provide financial governance over the Primary Processing divisions, including the financial management and reporting of these operations and working closely with the Head of Production to drive performance efficiency.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Skills

CA (SA) or CGMA or ACMA
BCom Honours Degree
Minimum 5 years of Financial Management experience in a complex and variable Manufacturing or Production environment this must include Cost Management Accounting
Proven People Management experience
MS Excel
SAP (FI, PM, MM)

Key Performance Areas:

Production actuals vs. Budget and Forecast
Account for variances in the forecast and prior year
Provides an analysis of production standards vs. process
Ensures financial reporting is accurate and in compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies
Documents and communicates financials with regards to budget and forecast development, including CAPEX, Repairs and maintenance, cost control and performance
Produces all Operations Financial Reports to the Production Team on a weekly to monthly basis
Accuracy of Asset Balances verified on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly period
Conducts feasibility studies with regards to costing on new products and presents recommendations to R&D and Marketing department
Manages the annual budget for Operations against variances, trends, and production plans
Reviews and maintains production standards and Bills of Material for all SKU’s to manage and monitor production performance
Investigates and accounts for variances to budget and production standards
Manages staff performance and development
