Qualifications / Requirements:

• Preferably CA (SA) qualification, however candidates with the appropriate qualifications and experience will be considered
• Minimum of 5 years post Article experience
• Financial Managerial experience in a national concern
• Must have worked in a large team
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• ERP experience
• M&A Integration experience

Key Performance Areas:

• Lead and manage the finance function and large team
• Prepare forecasts / budgets for division and track actual versus budgets
• Variance analysis and reporting
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare month end (management report pack) and year end reports
• Day to day cash flow management
• Management of retail development and branding funding requirements
• Manage and liaise external audit
• Manage compliance of all statutory returns (such as VAT)
• Manage tax payments
• Examine and analyze financial information
• Supervise and manage treasury functions (payments facilitation etc)
• Present reports and findings (written and verbal) to board
• Banking function (payment processing, foreign receipts and payments facilitation etc)
• Facilitate and roll out integration accounting package
• Manage customer registration / credit department team
• Ensure adherence with credit policy in considering and processing new applications
• Manage BBBEE in terms of ensuring desired level is maintained or obtained
• Statutory Compliance (VAT, PAYE, IT)
• Report on accounting discrepancies
