JOB DESCRIPTION:

This global company is looking for a dedicated Financial Manager with excellent organisational and analytical skills to join their team based in Pinetown.

Primary responsibility is ensuring financial effectiveness by providing leadership to the finance department. Ensuring efficient processes and systems are implemented to enable effective company operations;
Team management and ad hoc training - 6 direct reports
Full liaison and responsibility for relationship building with suppliers and service providers
Assist in the assessment of return on investment calculations for maximising shareholder return
Financial analysis in such areas as forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost management analysis and reviewing operational performance
Produce accurate management accounts for all entities monthly, including 3 international companies and consolidated accounts
Effectively manage the cross border transactions, which includes imports, exports and 3 international companies
Cashflow management
Monitoring and oversight of the group financial position
Corporate governance -Serve as Group Company Secretary and assist the board with corporate governance implementation

Qualifications and experience:

Post graduate qualification - Honours in Accounting (BCompt)
10 years managerial experience
Corporate finance experience
Financial analysis experience
Experiencing working with ERP packages, preference given to Syspro 8
