JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ideal appointee for this role must have a flair for Taxation & Technology and be able to analyse large volumes of data using cloud accounting software. The successful candidate must be well organised, deadline driven, hard-working as well as be able to manage themself and take accountability for their actions. This role will occasionally require traveling to clients both within and outside KZN. This team is the heartbeat of the firm and forms the foundations of their success and their ability to be drivers for change in the Non-Profit sector.

Education:

Completed Finance BCom/BCompt/B-Tech degree or Diploma
Completed articles

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Post-article experience preferred
Experience in complex tax VAT returns as well as VAT submission, VAT reconciliations, PAYE, corresponding with SARS
Excellent data analysis and advanced Excel skills
Experience in E-filing
Time & project management skills
Ability to adapt to new technology & cloud-based solutions and work unsupervised
