SUMMARY:
Major Financial Institute that concentrates on valuations, fundings, acquisitions, and investments in major organizations seeks an experienced Financial Manager.

POSITION INFO:
The purpose of the job is to aid the business in planning and making sound financial decisions by providing accurate financial advice and undertaking related accounts administration.

Accurately control and manage the financial affairs of the organization and ensure that sound financial practices are carried out.

Duties include:

Undertake strategic analysis and assist with strategic planning
Financial accounting and reporting
Effective payroll processing - oversee all payroll functions to ensure that employees are accurately paid on time
Facilitate and monitor SARS payments
Effective creditors management
Effective debtors management
Project Management Accounting
Information Technology
Governance and Risk Management
Develop, mentor, and coach team members

Knowledge:

Overseeing management accounts
Asset control
Cost-saving measures and expense control
Corporate Governance compliance
Tax compliance
Improving profitability
Preparation of budgets, forecasts, operational analysis, and strategic reviews
Management reports
Managing employees
Managing audits

Qualifications:

CA (SA) is preferable
Min 5 years post Articles Finance experience
Background in Investment holding, FMCG & Retail market is preferable
