POSITION INFO:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Financial Manager to lead the daily financial operations of our business. Reporting directly to the CFO/FD and CEO, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding financial integrity, managing financial risks, and supporting strategic decisions that drive profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

Manage end-to-end accounting for all group entities
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
Work closely with internal and external auditors on audits and reporting
Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and broker commission payments
Handle all SARS calculations and submissions (VAT, PAYE, Tax)
Oversee daily payment runs and ensure smooth cash flow
Prepare documentation for Board and committee meetings
Support the CFO/FD in all regulatory and statutory reporting

Treasury & Risk Management:

Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
Ensure adequate insurance coverage and risk management practices

Leadership & Strategy:

Play an active role in supporting strategic decision-making
Provide ad hoc support on financial and operational tasks as required

Minimum Requirements:

Chartered Accountant CA(SA) qualification with a valid SAICA certificate
3+ years post-qualification experience in a similar financial management role
Strong working knowledge of financial regulations and standards
Proficiency with ERP systems and financial software
Advanced Excel and analytical skills
Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities
Close attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to meet deadlines
Capable of working well under pressure
