SUMMARY:
Are you a strong-willed Financial Manager ready to take ownership within a fast-paced industrial and production environment?

POSITION INFO:
A well-established organisation within the industrial and production sector is looking to appoint a confident and hands-on Financial Manager to join their team based in Johannesburg CBD. This role is best suited to an individual with a strong personality who thrives in an operational environment and can take full ownership of the finance function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full financial function, with a strong focus on stock control and operational finance. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, strengthen controls, and support business performance through insightful financial input.

This opportunity is ideal for a BCom-qualified professional with completed articles and 3+ years’ post-articles experience, who is comfortable in a high-energy environment and able to lead with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full finance function, including reporting and controls
Oversee stock management and ensure the accuracy of inventory records
Prepare and review monthly management accounts
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements
Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes
Partner with operational teams to support business decisions

Job Experience & Qualifications:

BCom degree (non-negotiable)
Completed articles
Minimum 3+ years’ post-articles experience
Strong stock/inventory experience (essential)
Experience within industrial or production environments preferred
Strong personality with the ability to take ownership and lead
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, on-site environment
