About the Role
This role offers exposure to all aspects of
insurance and reinsurance
accounting, financial reporting, audit preparation, and solvency management. You’ll work closely with the executive team and have the opportunity to build robust
finance processes within a high-performing, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of the finance function, reporting directly to the CEO
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial reconciliations
- Manage insurance and reinsurance accounting, claims payments, and premium receipts
- Oversee credit control, reinsurance recoveries, and solvency reporting
- Support audit preparation and financial compliance
- Maintain and improve financial data and processes
Requirements
- Qualified CA(SA) (newly qualified or early post-article experience)
- Insurance or reinsurance accounting experience preferred
- Strong technical ability and advanced Excel skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow within a specialist environment
