The Financial Manager is a vacant role in our clients Finance and Operations team for a 1-year contract role

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Profile
The Financial Manager will be accountable for providing financial assistance and guidance to management, to enable cost-effective operational management within business units, as well as alignment to company strategy, budgets, and plans
Oversee financial aspects of the company
Ensure the flow of accurate financial data to the company stakeholders to support management decisions
Accurate and relevant preparation and presentation of financial statements, as well as
financial reports for functional areas and management to support decision making and
business unit management
Identify and share best practices and benchmarks across the business to improve business
performance
Finance strategy, development, implementation, planning, and budget
Management reporting
Full finance function, operations of the department, and continued improvement
Compliance and audit support
Stakeholder Management
Business support and partnership
People Management

Minimum Requirements
AA / EE
Financial Degree
CASA - non-negotiable
Commercial Industry experience
1 year Contract role
Minimum of 7 years’ finance-related experience in multiple related industries
Successful and proven track record in a similar or related role
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management or supervision role
Demonstrate financial expertise and strong business acumen within business operations to
delivery against strategy and budgets.
Build rapor and partner with business unit managers to monitor and improve financial
performance
Committed to adherence to governance and compliance standards
Keen attention to detail and accuracy
Passionate about business improvement and benchmarking against industry standards
