JOB SUMMARY:
Financial Manager will be accountable for the management of the finance function up to management accounts

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description
Produce financial reports that facilitate business decision-making and enable the business to meet financial and strategic objectives
Identify opportunities for automation through review and redesign of existing processes and reports
Analyse and manage cost control initiatives in line with budget
Understand business processes to identify areas for improvement/streamlining through gaining an understanding of dependencies, systems, automation risks, and challenges within the finance team
Monthly performance reporting results reported to the executive team
Assist and be actively involved in the annual Future Managers budgeting process
Preparation for annual Financial and BBBEE audits.
Audit Liaison and primary point of contact
Management of Financial Officer

Minimum Requirements
EE
Relevant financial degree
CA / CIMA /SAIPA would be advantageous
Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a similar role
Sound knowledge of accounting and related IFRS standards, financial reporting, and financial analysis
Advanced Excel
Sage, Pastel Evo
Warehouse cost management and manufacturing experience are advantageous
Ability to work independently, productively, proactively, and follow through on all responsibilities to
bring monthly and annual reporting to a successful conclusion.
Willingness to get your hands dirty and take accountability
Strong aptitude to learn new systems
Strong analytical and critical thinking, using data to inform reporting
Ability to present ideas succinctly, in writing and verbally
Versatile with an appetite to learn by doing
Highly structured thinker with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities
Work under pressure
Deadline driven
