JOB SUMMARY:
Listed concern has an opportunity for a Financial Manager: Group Reporting for their Head Office based in the Northern Suburbs. The role will be responsible for the overall oversight and preparation of the Group Consolidated financial statements and condensed interim and year-end reports, in accordance with IFRS.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities include:
Review of the consolidation process
Manage evaluation process
Analyse financial and non-financial information submitted by the divisions to identify errors, adjustments needed on a consolidated level and risks
Monthly management accounts, quarterly budgets and forecasts, including a statement of cashflows
Prepare commentary for monthly reports to EXCO and quarterly board reports for actual, budget and forecast results, interpreting divisional results, reporting and providing analysis at group level
Responsible for ownership of the consolidation and reporting system
Develop and implementation of new reporting templates to promote automation of the consolidation process
Disclosure reporting packs
Preparation of notes and inputs to the consolidated annual financial statements
Manage the external audit process for consolidation and financial reporting matters

CA(SA) qualification essential
Experience in a similar role is essential, with previous consolidation experience
