SUMMARY:
This is not a “keep the lights on” Finance Manager role. This is a “move the needle” role. Our client is looking for a Finance Manager who can bring structure, commercial thinking and strong financial leadership to a fast-moving agricultural environment in Bethlehem, Free State.
POSITION INFO:
You'll take ownership of the financial function for one division, while overseeing the financial management of another. From financial planning and strategy to cash flow, risk, budgets and audits, this is a role where you'll be expected to get involved, make decisions and lead from the front. If you understand that good finance isn't just about balancing the books, it's about helping the business make better decisions, keep reading. Key Responsibilities: Lead the financial management function across the business Oversee financial planning, strategy, budgets and forecasts Drive cash flow planning and working capital management Lead financial analysis and performance reporting Manage financial risk and strengthen internal controls Oversee internal and external audit processes Develop and implement finance policies, procedures and controls Partner with leadership on commercial and strategic decisions Lead, mentor and develop the finance team Job Experience and Skills: BCom Degree essential CIMA would be advantageous Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles essential 7+ years' commercial experience in financial management Agriculture experience strongly preferred; FMCG or similar industries considered Strong leadership and people management experience SAFEX \/ commodities exposure advantageous Strong commercial and analytical ability Excellent communication and decision-making skills Experience working with an ERP system If you're ready to take the reins of a finance function, influence strategy and bring more than just numbers to the table, this could be the next move worth making.
