A leading player in South African FMCG Group that processes products to customers around the world is looking for a Financial Manager CA(SA) to help provide strategic and operational finance support to the Group.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A leading player in South African FMCG Group that processes products to customers around the world is looking for a Financial Manager CA(SA) to help provide strategic and operational finance support to the Group.

With around 70 000 hectares across South Africa, the company’s plantations are the largest privately-owned plantations. Our client is an integrated group, managing the entire value chain – from seedling to the delivery of products to the market.

Duties:

Understanding costs drivers in the operations and how the impact the overall profitability of the business
Understanding the process in the operations and how they impact the overall profitability of the business
Manage standard costing and transfer price
Negotiate contract for processing operations and identify savings for the operations
Prepare budget and monthly estimates for the operations
Variance analysis – understand and explain variances to budget to operations and CFO
Assist management with CAPEX motivations
Assist shared services with information for insurance claims

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom Accounting
BCom Honours / CTA

Experience:

Completed Articles
5-7 years post articles experience
Experience in a financial management role is required.
Management experience is a MUST!
Shared service experience preferable
Experience working on financial ERP systems
D365 experience is preferable
