A well-established and growing manufacturing business is looking for a commercially minded Financial Manager to take ownership of the finance function and become a trusted business partner to the leadership team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment where they can influence business decisions, strengthen financial processes, and contribute to the continued growth of the organisation. You will work closely with senior management, providing financial insight, improving controls, and ensuring the business has accurate information to support strategic decision-making.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities Take full ownership of the finance function. Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements. Manage cash flow, working capital, and cash flow forecasting. Oversee debtors, creditors, and treasury activities. Develop and strengthen financial controls, systems, and reporting processes. Ensure statutory compliance, including VAT, PAYE, UIF, and all SARS-related matters. Prepare budgets and monitor financial performance against business objectives. Provide meaningful financial analysis and commercial insights to support operational and strategic decisions. Work closely with the leadership team to identify opportunities for business improvement. Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting. Desired Experience & Qualification BCom Accounting, BCom Honours, SAIPA or CIMA qualification. 3-7 years' experience in a Financial Manager or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, including Activity-Based Costing (ABC). Experience managing working capital and cash flow. Solid knowledge of financial reporting, management accounting, and financial controls. Experience dealing directly with SARS and statutory compliance. ERP system experience (Acumatica would be advantageous). The Ideal Person We are looking for someone who is: Commercially minded and able to translate financial information into practical business decisions. Hands-on and willing to get involved in the day-to-day operations of the finance function. Comfortable working in a growing manufacturing business where no two days are the same. Proactive, solutions-driven, and continuously looking for ways to improve processes. Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing business decisions. Someone who enjoys building, improving, and making a real impact within an organisation.
