SUMMARY:

Finance Manager | Manufacturing Sector | West Rand

A well-established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of its full financial and administrative function. This is a senior leadership role suited to a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, operational environment.
You will play a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making at executive level.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Lead the full finance function, including accounting, payroll, procurement and administrative operations
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting cycles (monthly and annual)
Provide commercial insights to support operational and strategic business decisions
Manage cash flow, banking relationships and treasury activities
Take ownership of credit control, receivables and financial risk management
Drive cost accounting, margin analysis and performance reporting across the business
Prepare financial models, business cases and investment evaluations
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, tax and statutory requirements
Manage external relationships including auditors, banks and regulatory bodies
Oversee financial systems and ERP integrity, including improvements and implementations
Identify and implement process improvements across finance and support functions
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering a high-performance culture
Support procurement governance, supplier management and cost optimisation initiatives
Contribute to transformation and compliance objectives in line with South African legislation

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (NQF 7)
Must have managed a team of staff
Must be a CIMA or a CA(SA)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a finance or management accounting role
Prior exposure to a manufacturing or production environment is highly advantageous
Strong Excel and financial systems/ERP experience
Solid understanding of cost accounting, financial analysis and reporting

Additional Requirements

South African citizen
Valid driver’s licence and own transport
This is an on site role in the West Rand
