SUMMARY:
Our client, a multidisciplinary strategy and management consulting firm, is recruiting an experienced Financial Officer to join their Transport Practice in George.

This is an Employment Equity designated position, open to applications from designated groups in line with our clients Employment Equity Plan.

You'll provide financial management, reporting and compliance support to a project — covering budget and grant reporting, invoice and payment review, fare revenue reconciliation, procurement support, and stakeholder engagement across municipal and provincial counterparts.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements: Accounting qualification with a strong academic record Minimum 5 years' finance experience, ideally in the public sector Good understanding of finance-related legislation, regulations and processes in the public sector (e.g. MFMA, SCM and mSCOA) Strong Excel and numeracy skills; able to work independently and under pressure Fluent in English; conversational Afrikaans an advantage
