POSITION INFO:

This position is custom-built for an accomplished investment administration professional who excels at managing high-volume transactional processing, complex asset reconciliations, and regulatory reporting frameworks. Operating at the operational hub of the platform, you will ensure the seamless execution of portfolio instructions, income distributions, and corporate actions while safeguarding internal risk controls. Key Responsibilities: Trade Execution & Portfolio Operations: Accurately execute and settle investment trade instructions, processing model portfolio rebalances, fund ballots, corporate mergers, and daily bulk transactions within strict SLA turnarounds. Complex Reconciliations & Asset Control: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, execute comprehensive asset-versus-liability matchings, and rapidly resolve ledger exceptions. Disbursements & Distribution Management: Capture and allocate fund income distributions, while administering fee payouts, adviser commissions, tax withholdings, and client withdrawal disbursements. Taxation & Regulatory Governance: Coordinate SARS tax certificate processes, support statutory reporting frameworks, and assist with international compliance submissions including CRS and FATCA. Systems Optimisation & Risk Mitigation: Audit operational workflows for processing risks, maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and actively participate in system testing for new platform tools and product rollouts. Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement: Manage operational query pipelines for financial advisers, external service providers, and custodians to maintain superior service delivery. Job Experience and Skills Required: Formal Education: A completed Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Investment Management, or a closely related commercial discipline. Experience Track: A minimum of 5 years of solid, reference-backed operational experience dedicated to investment administration strictly within a LISP (Linked Investment Service Provider) environment. Systems & Digital Mastery: Demonstrated proficiency operating specialized investment administration platforms (specifically TAU ) paired with advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills. Regulatory Domain Knowledge: Comprehensive, hands-on understanding of FSCA, SARS, FICA, CRS, and FATCA compliance frameworks, tax certificate compilation, and fund administration rules.
