POSITION INFO:
BUSINESS ANALYST: FP&A ABOUT THE JOB We are looking for a Business Analyst: Financial Planning & Analysis to join our Finance team and perform planning, forecasting, budgeting and analytical activities that provide the insights to support the company's business decisions and overall financial health. The finance team plays an important role in shining the light on the financial performance of the business, as well as identifying risks and opportunities for the organisation. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will turn numbers into narrative - building forecasts, sharpening pricing, tracking performance against KPIs and partnering with leaders across the business to drive better decisions. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Financial Planning & Management - design and facilitate financial planning processes, support annual budgets and rolling forecasts, produce planning reports, and conduct variance analysis with HODs Financial Reporting - enhance the reporting framework, monitor performance and variances, lead real-time financial performance monitoring, set and track KPIs, and present monthly financial reports Pricing Analysis - conduct member and product profitability analysis, develop and refine pricing strategies, evaluate market trends and competitor pricing, and identify high-margin opportunities Ad-Hoc Financial Project Support - provide subject matter expertise on financial projects, support financial initiatives, and ensure compliance with financial regulations ABOUT YOU You are a strong problem solver and analytical thinker who is extremely detail-oriented with a solutions focus. You communicate clearly, both in writing and in person, and can translate complex financial information into insights that land with any audience. You are proactive and results-driven, thrive against tight reporting deadlines, and work well with all levels of the organisation. A natural team player with highly developed interpersonal skills, you take accountability for your work and contribute positively towards shared goals. EXPERIENCE 3-5 years of FP&A and\/or Business Analysis or relevant experience in Finance Experience in a relevant industry would be advantageous Experience in developing financial reports, dashboards & metrics Experience in reporting and presenting insights to senior management KNOWLEDGE Knowledge of ERP systems BI tools Working knowledge of financial software MS Suite with advanced Excel skills THE HATS YOU MAY WEAR The Planner: Budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecasts, annual financial plans The Storyteller: Management packs, variance analysis, KPI tracking, monthly reporting The Pricing Strategist: Profitability analysis, pricing models, competitor & market reviews The Rewards Guardian: Accurate reward payments, payout modelling, ROI insights The Fixer: Ad-hoc projects, process automation, system & efficiency improvements WHAT OTHER DETAILS \/ EXPERIENCE \/ REQUIREMENTS MAKE OUR EYES LIGHT UP, YOU ASK?
