JOB SUMMARY:
Multi-national manufacturing concern based in Pretoria North has an opportunity for a candidate with previous Plant Controlling experience to join the finance team. Previous experience in Automotive environment is advantageous.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Plant Controller will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the operations
Ensure management and development of the controlling team
Ensure compliance to all financial procedures
Ensure site activities are compliant (product flow, inventory, routings) and internal control basics
Provide reliable financial controlling information
Lead financial forecasting processes (budgets, periodic forecasts)
Manage reporting process
Ensure reliability of standard costing
Provide necessary controlling analysis including variance analysis / standard costs, margin / programs, plant budgetary control and follow up on sales and purchasing prices
Control and manage the plant's operating cash flow (capex, inventories, overdues
Act as a Business Partner toward the Plant Management and provide recommendations to Management
Participate with the management of the Plant, in the development of action plans resulting from relevant analysis in order to achieve the operational targets, increase plant's financial profitability and cash optimisation
Follow financial impact and progress of action plans
Ensure financial awareness of plant operational teams

BCom dgree in finance is minimum
CIMA advantageous
Min. 5 years experience in a similar role with controlling experience at Plant level
