JOB SUMMARY:
One of the leading Pulp & Paper company based in Springs within a plant is currently looking for a Financial Services Manager with the following skills & experience:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Incumbent will be required to provide quality oversight with respect to all aspects of financial
reporting, while maintaining excellent relationships within the Shared Services team, as well as with
internal and external business partners.

Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate financial information;
Formulate medium term business plans;
Evaluate cost saving opportunities;
Review monthly reconciliations, report submissions to business units, as well as reporting as required by internal and external auditors;
Additional reporting as required by business units;
Liaise and sustain good external relationships: auditors, legal, bankers, statutory organisations, internal and external business partners;
Assist with User Acceptance Testing requirements;
Ensure changes in financial regulations and legislation are implemented and monitored, to ensure proper governance;
Conduct and review performance development appraisals;
Monitor and interpret cash flow forecasts and forex requirement of the business units;
Complete management function of the Accounts Payable department, Treasury, Cashbook, Fixed Assets,
Accounts Receivable, Master Data, and Finance administration;
Perform management duties as follows:
Manage Financial Services team;
Motivate and encourage Financial Services team;
Encourage knowledge sharing within Financial Services team and other departments;
Conduct training;
Support the Head of the department to ensure effective performance within the department, deadlines are met and strive for continuous improvement; and
Perform ad hoc duties as and when required within reasonable job scope.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

National Senior Certificate (Matric Maths); and
Accounting / Financial Management Degree.

Job Requirements:

Minimum ten (10) years’ working experience as an Accounts Payable or Receivable Manager;
JDE System experience advantageous; and Microsoft Office
