Financial and Payroll Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Security Industry, has an opportunity available for a Financial and Payroll Manager to be based in the Roodepoort area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Degree in financial management or accounting
• Postgraduate degree in financial management or accounting will be an added advantage
• Post completion of the articles, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Financial Management gained in a medium to large sized organization will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of IFRS, Taxation Laws, etc
• Sound experience of accounting principles and budgeting procedures
• Knowledge of SAGE accounting and payroll system or any other cloud system will be an advantage

KPAs:

• Assist management with the preparation of budgets both long and short term
• Maintenance of a general ledger and processing of transactions on a regular basis
• Regular review and updating of financial policies and procedures
• Maintenance of the reliable payroll system, including payment of overtime, leave administration and shift and standby allowances
• Compilation of company tax returns including, EMP201, EMP501, VAT 201
• Co-ordination of the external audit activities
