SUMMARY:
Our client in the Security Industry, has an opportunity available for a Financial and Payroll Manager to be based in the Roodepoort area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Degree in financial management or accounting
Postgraduate degree in financial management or accounting will be an added advantage
Post completion of the articles, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Financial Management gained in a medium to large sized organization will be an added advantage
Knowledge of IFRS, Taxation Laws, etc
Sound experience of accounting principles and budgeting procedures
Knowledge of SAGE accounting and payroll system or any other cloud system will be an advantage

KPAs:

Assist management with the preparation of budgets both long and short term
Maintenance of a general ledger and processing of transactions on a regular basis
Regular review and updating of financial policies and procedures
Maintenance of the reliable payroll system, including payment of overtime, leave administration and shift and standby allowances
Compilation of company tax returns including, EMP201, EMP501, VAT 201
Co-ordination of the external audit activities
