POSITION INFO:
OVERALL, PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Strong admin, controller, time management and scheduling qualities
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Sending and checking stock for Umbilo
• Checking BOL and quantities loaded for spreadsheet
• Checking kilometers for trucks (liasing with colin on when trucks should be serviced)
• Checking that all work is going according to plan for the day
• Contacting clients (orange grove,All fuel 4 U,Ian for bridging loads)
• Booking of Any training needed for drivers and liasing with andre if anything is needed
• Updating and printing of JMPS
• Building of schedule with Lizelle
• Building of trips on fuelcom
• Debriefing of previous days trips and sending to head office
• Liasing with reps ,drivers colin,Lizelle at all times
• Building of packs to be put out for drivers daily
• Drivers hours
• Booking of inductions for vopak ,shell and Engen
• Updating expired documents for drivers at these three gantries
• Entering NMPI’s ?on quality manager
• Placing of shell orders when Lizelle is not in
• After hours phone calls from drivers,reps,trackers and clients(24/7)
QUALIFICATIONS
• Matric
EXPERIENCE:
• Preferably newly acquired diploma in logistics
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word / Excel / PowerPoint), in particular Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to think on your feet
