JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in the Fruit Agricultural industry seeks a Food Safety Administrator for their Packhouse based in Kirkwood.

The role of Food Safety Administrator is to ensure that the implementation of systems and documentations meets the food safety standards.

Requirements:

Grade 12 as per the national senior certificate requirements (Umalusi endorsed).
Additional tertiary qualification will be an advantage.
Experience in BRC, Food Safety and auditing will be advantageous.
Knowledge of the fruit agricultural industry.
Extensive understanding of the portfolio of pack housing.
General business acumen.
Basic usage of Microsoft Office (Include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Duties and Responsibilities:

BRC Document Control and Updating.
Managing internal audits and assisting with external audits and the compliancy thereof.
Swab Analysis.
Food Safety and BRC training.
Supplier compliance and documentation.
Food Safety Meetings.
Quality inspections.
Stock control.
Dispatching.
Supervision.
Operate computer systems.
Control equipment and facilities.
Oversee housekeeping and personnel.
General administration.
