POSITION INFO:

A multinational company operating within the Financial Services industry is looking for an innovative individual to join their team as the new Forecasting, Planning & Analysis specialist. If you are a qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with the required minimum 10 years’ post articles working experience in a similar finance planning and analysis role within the Financial Services industry, please apply!

Qualifications:

• CA(SA) qualification
• MBA qualification is advantageous
• Prior Hyperion Financial Management working experience
• Minimum 10 years’ post articles working experience in a similar position
• Minimum 4 years’ managerial and/or team management experience

Job description & Skills:

• Facilitate the development and implementation of models and analysis processes based on the appropriate financial and operational performance metrics for the company
• Analyse business performance, business processes, and financial and/or operational information to identify trends involving revenue, operation expenses, profitability, and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) margin expansion
• Facilitate group reporting and business analyses in line with all the company group reporting standards and/or requirements for all lines of business and shared service functions
• Liaise with the respective domestic and foreign based reporting lines and engage with stakeholders
• Provide business advice and facilitate decision making in accordance with the strong customer focus and accelerated growth path of the company
• Interpret complex business models and foresee future business outcomes and prepare reports involving the respective performance metrics for all senior and executive management, stakeholders, and the foreign based company headquarters
• Assist with the analysis and assessment of the external factors and/or stressors affecting the current working environment and the future market conditions of the company
• Fulfil the ad hoc roles and responsibilities of a strategic finance business partners and lead the Line of Business (LOB) heads through all budgeting and forecasting functions
