Foreclosure Secretary (Sales in Execution Specialist)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly experienced Foreclosure Secretary specialising in Sales in Execution to join our dynamic legal team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment and can manage matters independently from start to finish.

This position is based in Pretoria East.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full Sale in Execution process from attachment to post-sale finalisation
• Draft and issue:
  • Warrants of Attachment (Immovable Property)
  • Notices of Sale and Conditions of Sale
• Ensure full legal and procedural compliance prior to sale
• Liaise with Sheriffs, municipalities, managing agents and other stakeholders
• Secure sale dates and manage preparation within strict deadlines
• Conduct pre-sale checks and resolve compliance risks
• Handle sale outcomes, cancellations, settlements and repeat sale processes
• Maintain accurate updates on legal systems and ensure SLA compliance

Minimum Requirements

• 6–8 years’ hands-on foreclosure experience
• Proven ability to manage Sales in Execution independently
• Strong experience in high-volume, SLA-driven environments
