JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a well-established beauty salon in Hermanus is looking for a Front Desk Coordinator (FDC).

The role of the FDC is to welcome guests to the salon and to coordinate the day’s appointments.

You will be the first line of contact for the guests, therefore a friendly, professional guest orientated approach is central to the role.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome all guests in a friendly, welcoming, and professional way.
  • Understand and advise guests on all treatments and products available.
  • Accurately book appointments and / or handle changes made to appointments.
  • Handle guest queries and complaints in a professional and accurate manner.
  • Answer calls in a friendly professional manner.
  • Manage therapists’ work schedule /rosters.
  • Responsible for salon opening and closing procedures.
  • Manage stock counts and inventory control.
  • Assist with administrative duties.

Requirements:

  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken, telephonic and written).
  • Organized and systematic.
  • Detail orientated.
  • Must possess basic math and money handling skills.
  • Able to function under pressure in a fast-moving environment.

 

We are looking for someone who is excellent with customer relations, has integrity and is well presented.

 

Salon Opening Hours: Monday – Friday 9am to 6pm | Saturdays 9am - 5pm | Sunday and Public Holidays 9am - 3pm.

(Working hours, off days and off weekends to be discussed upon interview)
