  The Role:

  Essential functions:

  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
  • Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS, with focus more on SASS.
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks. Angular experience is a must, more specifically 9+.
  • NPM component packaging NgRX for state management are an advantage.
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
  • Experience in taking handover from Sketch and InVision (with embedded specifications) from design teams.
  • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image, such as Photoshop is a plus.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
  • Knowledge in the SCRUM Agile framework is advantageous.

  • Matric 

  Preferred Qualifications :

  • Relevant IT Qualifications.

  Experience required:

  • Angular 2+ and Front-end Development experience
  • Able to do custom Angular Development
  • UI/UX experience
