SUMMARY:
Post Harvest Quality Control Manager - Permanent - Start ASAP - R480 000 pa negotiable - Stellenbosch

A leading fruit company, is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to join their dynamic team.
The primary objective of this role will be to oversee the activities and staff of the quality assurance division within the Postharvest Department including quality control systems.

POSITION INFO:
Key performance areas:

Administration & Management
Ensure inter- & intra-departmental communication platforms are in place to provide fruit quality information
Quality Assurance Protocols & Specification Supply Management & Allocations
Provide air and sea freight percentage assumption updates twice weekly to all operational and technical departments
QC Training
Train employees, customers, and suppliers in applicable QC policies and procedures
Complete the specific QC Manager training and exposure plan within the provided timeframe guides in the plan
